Just got a free-bie Moto Lapdock for my Photon. Seems to work pretty good. Better then I shouldn't have said that. All of a sudden the mouse moved on screen to a different place. I actually got to do a walk tonight. Felt great to do. I should have been doing them every night this week with these super unseasonably warm temps. Still have the kidney stone. I am sure because I would get some really good pains when doing the walk. I ate at home tonight, had some broccoli cheese and rice, with cut up hot dogs. Not the best culinary delight, but it worked. Now, I need to go do Deed's taxes update. I am really not looking forward to that. I don't know if I will do them again this year.
Next big deal, do I buy a new iPhone 64 gig or a White Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G touch, what do you think? With the love of the iPhone tonight, I would love to take my whole MP3 collection with me. Not that I would, but then it would leave me enough room to record plenty of videos and pictures. Suppose I need to flip a coin. Then also I need to decide if I want to buy a production lapdock like this. I think the keyboard is a little too small. It works, but not super great. Imagine if this was all the computing power you had.
Could you do your banking, taxes, emails, organize music or videos, I suppose so. Put an external drive on it, back up everything to it.
Time to try some other surfing and see how it handles it.

So, I have been out of commission for a couple weeks, with a Kidney stone, that has now starting giving me Fevers/chills. That also may be caused from a bacteria in my bladder. I just started getting the chills as I was sitting here after dinner. I may just have to suck Advil for a while. Lucky I have a Costco two pack of ton of pills. I took my two Cipro's today and only had Advil at 1:30 am and two pills at noon or so. I don't remember now. I thought I flt better through the day, and I will say that. At least I was able to eat some dinner too. I had a Wendy's Spicy Asiago Chicken sandwich with a sour cream and chive baked potato. Geesh I have to watch the spasms here because it almost lost all my type. The Fever's started on Tuesday night, and the Antibiotics started late Wednesday night. I guess its time to crawl into a blanket before bed time so I can then load up on advil before bed.

I had a great time I think, taking my time, seeing a few sights, and getting some much loved In-N-Out burger. Never had the animal style fries before, and it really rocked. I should have got the hamburger that way too. I didn't. Now I have to plan my last night, and get my time setup for when I need to go to the Bart. I hope I have enough money for the Bart and the Airbart. Also, whether or not I have to transfer at any stations. I don't think I need to. By the way, I need to have them fix the 4G service here at the hotel range. I have plenty of signal, but a terrible speed on the connection. You tube videos will never really play. Drives me batty enough that I switch to 3G to run. That seems to work much better. I will try to clean up my video's I took with my phone and camera today and get them posted to you tube. Some people see to like to watch them so I could use the hits. Also, I think it makes much more sense to use the new Canon camera instead of the phone, since it has some really good anti shake software built in. I will see how well it plays on the my Tv at home. It better I tell ya.
Well that's enough for now, time to plan the evening and make sure my stuff is packed to go in the morning.

Sitting in the concierge lounge at my second hotel this week. If I was really cheap I would just fill up on this for dinner. I will go walk and find something I think. Now the question is can I do Alcatraz tomorrow while still getting to check in on Southwest. I hate to be on the island with no signal and not be able to check in. They probably have signal there though. I think I may still eat some more. Maybe another little hamburger. They were kind if cold but I think they put some fresh ones out. Here come some more people. Trying to get big plates? Come on. Ok, time to sign off again.

First time in San Francisco

So, I am sitting here at the Moscone, planning my next move. I don't have any real classes I want to see, so I think I will work my way towards my hotel. I just have to remember my bags have to be picked up before 4pm today. And then, buying a Bart pass. Kind of a pain in the ass at the Bart station. All e bums asking for money while you are trying to buy tickets. I didn't like that at first station I visited. Now my damn cough is coming back. This damn cold is driving me nuts! Every time I get comfortable I have to start hacking! It also seems to happen rig when I am doing something important. Are they giving away extra cups and bags? I don't need them I don't need them. Keep telling myself that, since I have to carry it everywhere. I am going to get one anyway. See ya!

The fun with Diabetes

So, now I am healed from my terrible leg infection. But when I started the treatment I got this red spot on the front of my shin, and it has been sore. Now it still sore weeks after the infection healed, and now I have swelling above my ankle. I am still going to San Francisco, I don't think this will stop me. I just need to get back to my exercise walking. Anyways, I am going to hop in the shower and get ready for work.

I had a pretty exciting day! Got to bring Kallie to work with me. She got to eat lunch at the Euro Cafe, and see the Executive Briefing Center, the SCRC, and all the fountains and waterfalls. I had to do this status update because of the keyboard and screen on this older MacBook Pro 17" is so nice and I am at just the right angle I suppose. So I wanted to write a big thing while I am watching Big Brother. I hope Lawon gets voted out, and then maybe I hope Brendan comes back in the house. It would be wild, they would scream and jump around like idiots.
Wack-a doodle. Shelly is a goof. Also very mannish.
Zaylee got her cast off and on again, and she should be getting her surgery scheduled soon. I still have to decide something for dinner. I ate most all my Trader Joe pita chips and Blue cheese dip.
Little red needs an oil change and so does the Finitah. If I would just do what I think I can do in a day, I would be amazing.

So I still haven't booked my San Francisco vacation yet. I don't know what I am waiting on, things will just keep frying more expensive. I guess I was hoping for some special hotel pricing. Would be nice to use my Marriott points for some of the trip. I am still having WiFi issues at the house. Oh ya, I got my new washer and dryer last week! That was a highlight for me. I guess when you use an appliance all the time its nice to have really good ones for a change than just freebee hand me downs. Also, I sold the old ones on Craigslist for exactly what I asked. I think that was a feat in itself. If that's the trash truck at 7:30 this morning I will be shocked. And have a house of trash for a week more I guess. I shouldn't be schmucking around doing this instead if running my trash to the curb.

For new friends. I need to get new friends. Drugs and alcohol don't do it for me, call me old fashioned. Just call me. Tonight I got to spend the night at the ER with a friend who thought he was having a heart attack. Turned out to be because of a bag of meth that was stuck in his colon broke open. Fun with time released drugs I suppose. It really explains things. When he said he was seeing and hearing dogs in the ER that were going to come in the room to "do a demonstration on him" it kind of took the cake. We will see but I bet the job is lost next week and then I will be on the hook for the phone bill. I never seem to learn my lesson as well. Guess we all aren't perfect.
Still have to get out to NFM to look at washers and driers. Hopefully the big no interest sale isn't over.

On the damn computer. At least I have done two loads of laundry. J had a surprise visit from H. I thought we might first have lunch today since its been awhile since we have done our Saturday Kokopelli's lunch. Have to try it again before the wedding. I plan on going to T's tonight to watch the MMA fights. I have no idea who is fighting so don't ask. Next I am going to run by Costco, maybe Sams. Mom was wanting me to find some Laz-Z-Boy outdoor furniture. What else was I supposed to look for, hell if I know. K should move out tonight. It was nice having a roommate again. Especially someone who did dishes and put them away. Kept the sink clean, and brought up his trash. Not that I have had really any slob roommates than myself. I wont call myself a slob but I don't like cleaning my own messes. I won't lie to you there.

So, we got our quarterly results meeting. Things are really looking good. Bonus is 115%!!!! So what's it going to buy me? Maybe a new car? Pay off a TV? I should go ahead and swap it over to another phone and just chalk it up. Oh well. Maybe it works itself out right. I wanted an excuse to take it away anyway.

Had to shut off the swipe keyboard because it was pissing me off. I am at the on campus Cafe having a Blu-cheese chicken sandwich with fries and a parfait. I feel like i am being a pig, when this is pretty light for the normal me. Who said the keyboard should go away after that? Not me. The one thing i am thinking about is I need to set a new goal. I should train for some type of marathon. Maybe a special walk first. I wouldnt want to bite off too much butI still feel I could do it. Havent really seen anyone exciting here today. Wonder if Hesse is in town. You know who hasnt been around in a while here either. Now I know I need to try doing this on the other Tab and see if it does this stupid close keyboard thing. Think we will get all this snow again this weekend? I want to go to Topeka to get that new PC for Deed. I also need to check with Mike and see if that Rowena got her laptop back.

New devices, new problems

So I got a new device.six seven eight oh Sanyo unit. So far I have accidentally bumped it to hangup because of the new type of key guard on it. I thought I really liked that at first. I also really like the new power button key guard unit on the top of the phone compared to the side one on the incognito. It has worked ok on the home airave unit. The screen is kind of hard to see. Kind of makes my ear hurt too when I hold it funny off my face so it doesn't hang up. I do really like the internal keyboard. I can type very fast on it. Will alert you more later.

So they plan to put Groucho to sleep today. He was looking pretty bad last I saw rim. Losing some hair in patches and not walking too fast. He was still able to let Kallie maul him. I bet they will really have a problem with this today. And now they are going to pick them up because the baby sitter is not able to watch them. I would have liked to see him again before this happens. I did get some pictures of him again so I will have to look for them. We are trying to figure out his age. If at least it was when I was in high school, that would make him at least twenty years old. Hard to believe, he is defiantly older than that. My arm is driving me nuts right now.
I am going to get ready here in a few. Thought I would at least say something about this. So make it June 17th 2010 for Groucho Kitty's last day.

Hello, this is the first update from the new iPad. I really like it. What do you think of it? Th keyboard on the screen can really go pretty fast. I bet Jacob would love this too. I know they haven't sold out of them everywhere. They will soon. I am watching law and order while typing this. I need to go buy some new shirts. I got a nice new hole by the pocket on one of my favorite ones. I am so in love with this and the new EVO as well.
Lets just say it's the best phone i have ever used. The speed is awesome, the hot spot is awesome, and it works perfectly for the iPad. You couldn't live without it.
One fault i seem to be doing with this is hunching over to type and work on it. Then I get a back ache. Thats no good man! I guess I will end here and give mom and dad a call again. I was on the phone with them and someone called. They were supposed to call me back and didn't.

Hello 2010, just thought I would pop in and say hey! I slept in super late this morning, had a interesting but tame party for it. I didnt get to sleep at home though until 3AM. Then I ended up sleeping until 1:30 today. I need to get up and around and accomplish something today.
Jason wants me to go to Ohio with him tomorrow to return his son. I really dont want to sit in a car for 12 hours. Would much rather fly.
Ha.
Anyway, good luck in the new year. I need to order some stuff from Costco online today before it gets too late anyway. Maybe go walk through Target or something.

Another day at work

So,its been a while. I needed a update. Yesterday was layoff day again. I made it without getting cut. Lost some more people I know. This time it was Pete, Louis, and Scott Lindsey. Will it ever end? I am at the Euro Cafe right now on the Z600. Love this machine. It is the coolest thinnest laptop I know. Very comfortable to type on too.
My WiFi is working over the campus wifi. I brought the puck to use, but didn't need it.
Current phone I am using - Hero for main line, Pixi for back up line, Pre for home line. Moment is on spare duty. I haven't had a new handset in a while to play with. Its kind of getting boring. Need some new super exciting handset.
They are playing the oldest 40's tunes on the muzaq in the Cafe. I wonder why. Its usually pretty progressive. Sounded like Glen Miller Band. Not to be confused with Steve Miller Band.

Kind of cold out today finally. They say the cold spell is coming. Snow maybe on next monday. It keeps getting pushed later. This global warming is working out pretty nice.
I had a Philly Cheesesteak for lunch. It wasn't really any good. For $9.50 cents a sandwich, tots, and water, is terrible.
I SHOULD have drove to PepperJax for it.
But its nice to sit here too.
Greg Gere came up after I finished eating. He is a good guy, made it through the layoffs. Its pretty hard to see anyone you recognize anymore. I have lunch with Mickie tomorrow, her last day is the 5th. Can you believe that? I can't! She has been a hell of a friend over the years. I remember the first time I talked to her, in the garden of tranquility between the Mock Store and my building.
I have a 2:00 meeting I have to do, so I still have some time to hang out here. I need more battery life maybe.
Did I tell you about Vegas? SEMA? San Antonio? Uncle Wayne's funeral? I will have to look before I go into all that on here.
I hope to tell you when the first WiMax gets turned on in KC. Word has it coming early in January, officially in July. Can I wait?

So, I haven't updated for a while. Watching Jay Leno show. Just saw the movie Zombieland. Very good movie. Working on my new Netbook Dell Mini 10V. It is small, but it is getting the job done. Just needs a back-lit keyboard. Going to Vegas for SEMA again. Very happy about that. Need to plan ahead some, still need to get new pairs of shoes, new socks, maybe some new shirts and pants. I also would like a new suitcase for all of this. The one with the wheels that go sideways.
I am two cars less now, lost the 1988 Taurus and the 1986 Cavalier 2Dr. Little crushing action going on around here.
Damn cold and cough. I really hate it. I also need to go to the doctor on campus to make sure its not important. Everyone is getting the swine flu. I will talk to you later.

Thank god for Pandora on the blackberry Curve, I can't do it on my Tour now.
All these phones and wouldn't be able to play it. I needed these and the Bose headphones. The crazy AM radio buzz noise was making me insane. Really, I wanted to bash my head in with a water glass. I will have only got about 1 hour of sleep tonight.
Wide awake right now. It will be interesting to see this later of course.
Really need to keep a BB active at all times.
HOWEVER - The Samsung Instinct won the GPS award for the trip. The only device that actually completed downloading the maps and gave us directions. Even when we roamed or had no signal or GPS view.
Like, you need to have it just in case of emergency. I could be using Pandora on it too I guess.
Lets be more quiet for now. See if I end up in Chicago in less than 24 hours from now. I will update the BLOG of course.

I can't sleep

I am stuck in a hotel in Omaha,NE, and I can't sleep. I am doing this update hoping it helps. I should go get something to drink or something
Everyone else is sawing logs just fine. I am wide awake now.
Mike is snoring. Zaylee is sleeping pretty good. She just made a little noise a second ago.
Mom has her machine on. Doing just fine I may add.
Planning to go to the SHO unvieling and plant tour tomorrow. It should be awesome. I have never been to a car plant.
Jacob will go with me. He had a good idea, drive one of our cars up and just rent a car there for the few hours we will be at the plant.
Might make sense, unless it wouldnt be that much more for the car the whole time. I love rental cars too.
I don't want to drive a Nissan product to the plant, for fear my tires might get slashed.

Sharing a lunch table, and a MiFi connection...

So, as I write this, I am on a new Dell Red Rubber version, over the MiFi in the Euro Cafe. I like this Dell much better than any other Netbook so far. Ralph was able to get City Of Heroes on the HP Netbook. I can't believe it can start.
I am fighting with the packaging team again. Well, not really the team. Just a few of them. Wanted them to come in to work, but they wouldn't. Just finished my Taco salad without cheese or sour cream. Eating the shell, it was still really good. I would like a treat but I had a mini muffin before I came over.
Need to update it in the Livestrong plan. I havent in a long time.
Zaylee is still in the hospital today. I guess she is going to get to eat today finally. Its been since last tuesday she had ate.
Bought a terabyte drive at Microcenter yesterday. I plan to consolidate all my data from all my drives around the house to get them cleaned up.
Have too many old ones not being utilized and sitting with data I am not sure of.
The Home server is still running, I like it. Just not sure if I need to re-do it with the new terabyte drive.
I have a 1 o'clock call I need to get on.

I haven't heard from Alex in a while, need to go see some free movies.
Drove the truck to work today. It still starts right up with that 2001 model battery. I may have jinxed myself, we will see.

So, this is my first post from a netbook. Just looks a little too small really. Luckily my fingernails are long right now. Got to love that Target store. Maybe I will carry it around for a while. With the MiFi, and a netbook, you can realy be mobile.

Blackberry Tour

Welcome to the new Blackberry Tour AKA Niagra, AKA 9630. I have completly transistioned all my connections to it for my main phone. It has been really good, the new screen is perfect, definatly has so much better browsing and icons on screen.
It is a world phone with full unlocked GSM support. I do have some issues with signal I have noticed. Battery life is pretty similar to my Curve.

HTC Snap

i recieved the HTC Snap this week. I tried it just this friday. It is a phone to replace the Moto Q style size and configuration. It has a new interface over the WinMo Standard 6.1. The very first thing thats wrong, is the kkeyboard.
It has the shift button directly below the Q key, which makes it very hard to transition to. I constantly keep hitting the shift key instead of A. I really can't use the phone without some real issues.
I will try to test call quality and signal test next week.

Touch Pro2 Update

So, I have been using the TouchPro2 for over a week. Battery life had been decent, but today without ever using it at all, and taking it off the charger at 9:30AM, at 10PM it had no bars left. This is on a Saturday by the way. Hardly no email. Whats the deal? Maybe it needs a reboot, I havent removed replaced the battery since I started using it. It has seemed to slow down some.
Been using the WiFi to try the webcam software. It just opens to a blank page.
Still love the keyboard.
This UFC finale is distracting me too much.

If someone is losing their house, do they need cable? If someone is losing their house, do they need high speed internet? A dog? Big screen TV's? I know I would feel different. When I had issues with money and needed it, I would sell stuff. I have plenty to sell. I would have a garage sale. I also know that I would be doing all I can to work ANYWHERE the exact moment I lost my job. I know its a different world out there right now. Many people without jobs. But alot just sit around and whine about it. Can you not work at a restaurant or anything? I was without work for a week or so and ended up with two jobs at the same time. By the way, the total ditz on Wheel had a whole puzzle listed all but AL_ACORE TUNA and said "F"? I haven't ever heard of Alfacore tuna.
People need to wake up. Eating out, SMOKING! That's another one. How can you afford cigarettes?

From the new Touch Pro 2!

So this is a blog entry from the new rhodium aka 7830 aka touch pro 2. Its like the smallest laptop you ever seen. I think it could really work. I would be nice to watch tv on it im sure. So i give this two thumbs up, way up for it. I was never really super impressed with the Touch Pro. The keyboard didnt do it for me. So now i just want to know the launch date of this baby. Now i think I will find a laptop to work from. Thanks again.

Since I just completed the biggest move of my life so far at work. Mostly done by myself, but I did get some help from my old team members. Its even just a little after five and I am done. I can take off my shoes, CRANK the music, turn up the fan and work. I really like it. I have a crappy adapter on my PC becuase it is making my screen blink. Now I have to get the rest of the stuff put away. That can happen next week I hope. I have more and more crap to go through.
Now I have room to sort it, and cabinets to put it in. Very nice. I like it. As long as you know who leaves me alone about it. Its my Taj Mahal. I deserve it I think. I have made it to end game as they say. Ok, well, time to go home.

Samsung Reclaim (SPH-M560)

This is a "Green Phone". In color and recyclability. Made from consumer recycled products. Hope there were no germs in there. Its a slider phone, slides up to reveal a full qwerty keyboard. Very small though. I had many a hard time trying to type on it. I needed to really use my fingernails. It may be good for some really skinny fingers or female types. It has a nice large screen. It showed Sprint TV very well.
You had to change it to full screen option though, otherwise it was really funny small looking.
Call quality was fine. It is a One-Click interface phone. I am sure this phone will sell well. Very similar to ATT Propel phone.
It is a EVDO phone. 2.5 MM headphone jack. Bluetooth. Very loud speakerphone. Was really surprised to hear it. Its on the back of the phone top of the battery.
Uses standard Micro-USB charger port. Good to see Samsung finally using that. Wish the Insticnt was.

Been slacking in the phone review department. I have four new devices to review. Palm Pre, Samsung Exclaim, Samsung Reclaim, Novatel MiFi. I will save the Pre for the last.
Samsung Exclaim (M550)- This is a first for our form factors. Its a dual slider, with a full number pad when you slide up, and then a sideways is a full qwerty keyboard. It has a very large screen as well. I like the slide action, it has been really good. The call quality was fine. I hate to say I always notice it has hardly no bars of service, but it works. The screen is not touch, many people look at it and think it is.
The ringers are loud enough for it. The Sprint TV worked fine. I liked to text on it with that nice large keyboard. They changed the firmwares around a few times, becuase one firmware the speakerphone button was disabled. Next firmware fixed it. Very good phone for the text centric. With people that looked at it who were Rant customers, they really flocked to it.
I would hope its at a 49 after rebate price point. I don't know for sure or when it will be released.

So, I had to have a dentist appointment. I had to get a crown today. I really thought it would be alot worse. I kind of just took it. I also think it had to do with getting someone who actually listened to me to get enough novacaine. I had them do it before they finished the cleaning. Pretty good job. I told them they get a gold star. So, here is your gold star.
I got a new phone today to review. The Motorola i465 Blackstone. What a cool name. I don't know what I think about the keyboard yet. I also still don't like the old Nextel interface. Why does it have to "download" text messages. Are they not sent to the phone already? When it gets the battery fully charged I will do some more review.
Also, I heard yesterday that I am getting a weekend with my bro and nieces. I guess they were going to tell me after they showed up I guess. My sis-in-law says she wants a weekend without the kids. So she is letting them do this. Won't that be nice? I really do want them to come up. It will be awesome to have them up here. I would'nt mind having her here as well. She has been staying away for a while for some reason.
I am watching House now. Pretty good episode.

Here I am blogging from the hospital room at St.francis on my blackberry. We will see if this post posts. I have a error on the page right now. I can't seem to sleep anymore here. They never have told us the Mri results. If they are upset of paying for hospital stays you would think they would hurry this up. Thank god they turned off the other ladies light. Plus, these nurses all seem to have fun at night playing grab ass.
Anyway, deed has been sleeping good most this whole night. Need to call Wayne and Jane back tomorrow. Hopefully they will tell us the results. I just want my grandma back home and not in pain. Plus I want to really yell at my rotten brother and sister in law if they don't bring them girls around. They are playing games and I am sick of it. Goodnight for now. Wait, its morning anyway.

So, just hanging around town this whole weekend. I didn't go to Topeka. We had a much Target weekend. Many bargains are to be had there. I guess inventory is coming.
I have a new review of the Samsung Rant aka M540. They had a software upgrade that fixed the Sprint TV issues. It also allowed the store to work, so you can order stuff. Its working so much better. Other than the keys are still small on the front, and the space bar acts funny when you use it.
Maybe I can go to T and take are of the girls tomorrow. Mom has to watch them.

Dell Inspiron Mini 9

Hello folks, I am blogging tonight courtesy of the new Dell Inspiron mini 9 Netbook. Or what ever you want to call it. I am going to call it a pain in the ass by trying to type on it. I wish it had a back lit keyboard. This is just too dark ti type with. I moved the screen up to help highlight the screen, and something just there minimized my session. I may be thinking this keyboard is too small or a little messed up. I was watching Hulu on it for the last three hours since i got home. It did that OK, but video quality was very choppy at times. This unit is a Unbutu Linux , and only model. It has no webcam and I'm only a 4 gig solid state drive. It might not have bluetooth, becuase I could never figure out how to get it working. The more I am typing on here, it is getting easier. I am also getting a lot faster at it.
Not bad, a little learning curve how to type. I really hate the occasional bump that causes the mouse to jump somewhere on the screen, and then I start typing somewhere else on the page. Shame shame. I plan to submit photos of this unit.
Coming up next for the blog readers is the Touch Pro, and the Samsung M570, or something like that.

Here comes the Jazz!

This is for the new Samsung M630 Jazz. Red color is good. This has the new Sprint U.I. on it. I am learning it, and I know it is changeable, but it will take some getting used to. Battery life so far is not great. I never used it, didn't charge it one night and its dead. Dual Slider mechanism is working great. Speakers sound good when slid down. Ringers are playing well. The phone came with a 1 gig MicroSD card. Has a touch dial on the front, but doesn't work in all menus. Call quality is fine. One person noted the fonts are way to small to read on the screen compared to a Samsung M520. Tv quality has been great. Haven't taken any pictures yet.
Look for a update later. Also coming are reviews on the Moto Vegas, Treo 800W, Blackberry Curve Red.

So, I am going to try something new. New Phone reviews. I am getting in on some early products, so I will do some reviewing.
Moto i576 - Nice small size. Looks like it comes with the extended battery built in as the normal one. You don't notice it sticking off the back. The external screen always stays lit with a low light. When not plugged in or charging. Sound quality is good, very loud but sometimes you hear a tinny buzz when someone talks loud. This is with the standard volume set at 5. Haven't been able to catch mom on the Push to Talk. I think its working. Why do these nextel's have the cheesiest ringers that sound like a funny 2 cent game from 20 years ago. What ever music chip they use I cant stand. Battery life seems good so far, I have used it during the day, took it off the charger at lunch time, and its still showing full signal.
I don't know what it is about the Target at Ward Parkway, but I get NO nextel signal in that building. It goes completely dead. I had that happen with another phone, so I am sure its just the network not the phone. Antenna does make a difference with signal strength. From what I can tell it adds a couple bars sometime. I like the resolution of the internal screen. Font's look good and rendered well.
No Camera, No music, no memory cards. Lights are shutting off correctly when the flip is left open. Outer screen is off when its left open. Going to turn on bluetooth and try a headset tomorrow. I am seriously going to get me a bluetooth headset that works for me.
Next review will be on the Samsung Jazz - M630. Look for that.

Update - i576- Conclusion. I have been using this all week, bluetooth headset is working great on it. I have been Direct Connecting to Qchat and iDEN. All seems to be working great. I love the size, I love the coating and the feel. Holster is holding up good. Battery life is awesome. I have never had it drop below one notch. I charge it every couple days, and use it for a conference call at least once a day and other calls too. I say good to go.

The First Box

So my friend got his uniforms, now the packing begins. We did the first box, but looks like this weekend will be really busy. I wonder how my air conditioner will work in the garage. Its a 7000 BTU model. We had Subway for dinner. I am still playing with this laptop still. I didn't get to work with it much today. I also didn't get to work with the Macs today at all. I have to still get them done this week. I hope I can. I have seemed to bit off more than I can chew, maybe.
I love the keyboard on this machine. Especially how well it types. I don't like the pointer mouse though. It seems to make carpel tunnel flair up easy.
I hope Zaylee feels ok today. She was hurting yesterday. They rushed her up to KU Med. I guess they really didn't do anything to her. I need to get those clothes in the dryer, and empty out the dryer first. I never did make the bed upstairs. I did get the bug spraying done today too. Should have seen the giant ant colony under the hose holder in the back of the house. Right under the kitchen window. That was probably the big place they were all coming from.
OH By the way, the Bonnie is on towlot.com now. Curtis still abandons EVERY car he gets rid of. WHY CANT HE SELL OR officialy do it. They say no keys or title. I bet he didn't clean it out, or anything. Funny the silver SHO and this, all through the same website. Maybe even the same tow company. Oh well, time for bed.

Ok, so I really like this laptop. I found out it has the lighted keyboard. THAT RULES!!!
Now it is better than the Apple MacBook now. Yes, the keys are slick, but they still connect just fine.
We ate at Arby's tonight. I had the 5 for 5.95. I kept some left over. We went over to Dana's and setup a Motorola Vonage adapter. I would like to try Vonage at home. If I saved some money by switching to that, I would. George Carlin died today. You would think this would make more people get hearts checked out. I would think American Heart Association would take advantage of the publicity. Anyway, the laptop made a trip to Arbys and Dana', in the car and everything. Awesome battery life. It keeps going up but the percentage keeps going down. Will it ever run out? With the screen brightness lowered some and the keyboard lights on, that should eat some of the battery.

So, I finally got my new E6400 Latitude Dell to pre-test. I like it so far. The flat black look does seem to get a lot of smudges real quick. Even on the touchpad. This has got to be the first Dell that I ever used and didnt have to disable the touchpad while I am typing. I really like that. I may need to note that to the engineers. Anyway, I am home for lunch, I am going to go take care of my debt to the county for those stupid scooters that I dont need to pay for.
If I would have just sent the form in and told them I sold them the day after I got them.
I will try to keep blogging from this everyday to note my feelings of this new machine. See how the battery life is, etc.

So I drag the Sony Vaio SZ out under the stars on the desk, forgetting it doesnt have the lightup keyboard like the Mac's do. You really can't work out here when your fingers keep blocking the light. Anywho, Dad called me back a few minutes ago. He got a boat. Finally. Bought it in Winfield, KS. Kents dads boat. Used only 20 hours I guess.
There is a nice breeze. Not a 40 MPH wind for once. I opened up a window on the house. WHOO. I never do that. I do hear my neighbor already has their AC on. I will hold off for a little. I should be able to run the fan to bed or sleep in the chilly basement.
I have a basement thats always cold, summer or winter. I have a upstairs bedroom that is always warm summer or winter. Then my bedroom, in the middle. It gets warm too.
So now I will have to get some work done. HAVE to fix the silver SHO brakes to make it go. Decide wether or not to keep it. Where am I going to keep it if I do. I dont have room up here really for my four cars I have now. And the truck has been sitting in Topeka for a while.
Arg.
I sure do love this deck furniture. I need a larger deck so I can get a damn deck box to store the cushions. I also need to trim off that stupid bush out back. Thorny bastard.
All the AC units are kicking on. What a sound. Heat one day, then AC the next.
Busy day tomorrow at work. Have to fix the damn mock store again. And show them how use a kiosk for a DVD player. Then oh yea, the retail campus store stupid e-ticket thing.
Poor Shane, having to redo the images again for the APC's. Much nice out here. I could see camping out in this weather. But then I get the swelled throat crap.
Let me see, I am going to check on some motor homes. That might be a really fun thing. If I only had my own family to go with me.

I made it back, barely last night. What a flight. Got stuck in Phoenix for a extra hour and a half because the pilot was missing. They had to do a 2 hour call out for a new one. He ended up getting there so we got loaded and left a hour and a half late. Then the wind was so bad that we were coming in for landing in KC and getting close to the ground, and then WHOOSH back in the air. I thought thats not right! He come on and says ladies and gents, the tower advised us of a 65 mile and hour wind that would have made a bad attempt at landing. So we flew around and around for a little and then got a better approach. Pretty soft landing after that surprise.
Jacob is coming, and we are going to do lunch at KoKo's. I feel like some good mexican. L8r!

I am once again in Vegas. This time its business. I am doing this from my hotel room, at the IP. Not a bad hotel, definitely closer proximity to the better hotels. Walking distance is good. Going to get a monorail pass to ride around. Hopefully not get shafted this time. Got to go find something for dinner, by myself. Some have left and some are leaving in the morning so I do not have any companions. Maybe when I get back tonight I will let you know how it went.

So, I just thought I would say a little something on here. I am in the loft, and on the Imac. I love the screen and the funny thin little keyboard. I just really hate the corded mouse. I need to remember to order a couple wireless ones at work for it.
Anyway, I have quit shaving for the last few months. If I get up the nerve I may post a pic. I am using many excuses. Real excuse is I didnt want to have to clean my bathroom after I got it so cleaned up a few months ago, and did'nt want to get hair everywhere. True. So , I am going to Vegas again at the end of the month. For a Digital Signage Expo. Should be a good getaway. This retail store has been driving me nuts. From the avocents to the Scala players. No end is in sight. Maybe. Ok, so its past my bedtime. Time to get to bed before 1:00 tonight. I mean this morning. Whatever! (As Zaylee says now) L8r!

Making I- Movies

I am trying to get into importing my video's from my Sony Handy-cam and putting them into i-movies so I can burn them to discs. I think that would be a great X-mas gift maybe. I of course have to deal with the "don't get me in the shot" from everyone. But I am glad to have the video, since all the video my Dad made when we were kids I ruined. If dad would have only used that little copy protection clip. I copied over a complete XMas with the whole family when were talking. Actually, there were three xmas's if I remember. But they are all gone. Also I copied over the whole dune buggy tape. Then the only tape I saved was the Pop and deeds and Shop- steve tape. But then I lost it after Pop passed and I moved out of my house in Topeka. It really makes me sad I didnt keep that in a SAFE PLACE. No more. I will make backups, and have backups for backups. I will also try to keep it off site as well. I am trying a new Crash Plan backup software. I really think I like it. I may have to buy the license for it.

I need to decide if I am going to go to Topeka today. I think I will. But what car to drive? Do I take Gloria's TV? Do I drive the Versa, will it fit? What about the truck? Or the able Sable??

Tonight, I have a full house. All beds are occupied and even a play pen. Z, K, M, and C and mom and dad came up from Topeka to go the doctors. Z was supposed to get her cast off, and then get a appointment at Childrens. But the nurse at KU called and cancelled it. So, now what? They ended up not going anywhere and we went shopping and stuff. I took them to the Deanna Rose farmstead. They loved it. I still have a lot of quarters left from the change machine. I also got to take Z to Costco and "SuperTarget" ! Z kept saying that while holding her hands in the air, kind of screaming it. She hadn't been that excited about Target for a while.
Everyone is going to bed now. I guess I should too. Don't want to be the last one getting up and not getting any hot water.

Outside again! Till my battery is dead.

I love my Target furniture. I just don't want to leave the cushions out and get them lost. Or rained on. Or pooped on. Etc.
I put out one of my $19 lamposts tonight. I am using a compact flourescent to save the world. Ha.
I was going to go to the casino tonight with Mike O. But his plane was late and so he didn't get in until 8 tonight. I would have still went, I don't mind staying up. I guess we will try to go again tomorrow. However, that may be spoiled - or better if Mike and C bring the girls up. I would love to see them and get them to stay. Got to clean house, need to get faucet fixed. Oh, did I tell you?
My damn faucet in my bathroom is screwed up now and wont shutoff. It actually goes on more when you try to crank it off. I need to clal a plumber. I didn't want to but I don't want to break anything. I may watch him do my B-room and then do the upstairs myself. I don't know what brand my faucets are anyway.
Bugs are swarming my lantern. Its away from me so thats not bad. I guess now everyone can see that I am out on the deck on the Mac-in-trash.
Labor day weekend is coming up. I don't know what I am planning to do. I wanted so bad to go somewhere. But I need to work on the shop computers and the Versa. Did I tell you I have a Nissan Versa? I might have.
Ah, much more comfortable to lean back and type. Do you think M and C will come up?

We are at 81%. We started at 91%. I still can't park in the garage. I have to much dang furniture in there. I should take the fountain in the basement, and the other tables and chairs back. I did put my coffee table together tonight too. It fits perfect out here. It may be a little crowded if you really had a lot of people on here. But it would work.
Jeffrey pooped in M and D's pool. Isnt that funny? Or not.
I am starting to get bit up out here now. Maybe I should go in. Its almost 9:54.
Did I tell you I bought two of the Tivoli radio's? I didn't need them of course. I got the clock radio and the regular radio. I am done, but it would have been cool for a minute to get the whole set. I am debating on ordering the second stereo speaker for the clock radio set.

Blogging out under the stars

Ok, I thought tonight is worth a blog entry. I am child sitting for this weekend. Originally it was just supposed to be for a 24 hr. period, but then a phone call made it two days. We just got back from swimming. I say I am out blogging under the stars because I am. I finally opened my set of new outdoor furniture, and put it on the deck out back. It is SOOOO awesome. So comfortable. I really should use it as indoor furniture. Jeffrey is in playing Wii again. He really gets crazy with it. I can't see him standing up now though. I am typing this tonight on my MacBook Pro, from work. I love the lite up keyboard. It is awesome. The screen is awesome, and the temp outside now is awesome. There is a full moon out tonight as well. Some clouds are passing by.
I have a good thing to share. I wanted to get one of those Tivoli radios at Target that everyone was snapping up becuase they were on clearance, so I put one on Layaway. You know Target doesnt have a layaway right? J taught me to just hide stuff in places, thats what he had seen on the forums. I guess I knew that too. Anyway, where were we. Right , the radio, so I hid one a week or so ago, and I found out last Thursday that they had all went 75% off. I went to another store and they werent marked that way though, ot they were all gone!
So I went to Stateline, and looked in my secret place. There it was, with the sticker still on it. I ended up after having a issue at the register, getting it for the lower than marked price of 29.95. It was stickered 59.95 but the SKU rung up lower. AWESOME!
Its a nice radio, another for the collection. Where I put it I dont know. Apparantly spell checker doesnt work on the Mac. Apple fun. Its not too buggy out here tonight. I shouldn't have said that now I will get bit. Yep, I just felt it on the leg.
Anyway, I guess Jason should be back tomorrow, I just don't know if I am going to head to Topeka first thing or not. I hope it doesn't rain on my cushions. Should I check the weather? There, I just heard a mosquito in my ear. I am planning on putting Jeffrey to bed at 11:30, I shouldnt have said anything about using the box as a fort. I know it wont fit in the house now.

I am writing this upstairs, in the loft. I don't come up here to often, I could easily rent this out. I should, and get some more money.
I only went to one Target tonight. Belton. Got a couple things, a closk radio that I bought for 9 dollars was 5 dollars there. Going to have to return the other one. Jacob and I ate dinner at PepperJax grill. I had some coupons to use. Was pretty cheap. I am thinking I need to set up my GX620 desktop that is just rotting here, along with my old Dimension 4400. I think that what it is. I need to get a monitor, do you know anyone that has one? ha! I have two 19" Westinghouse's downstairs. They were cheap, but not super cheap. I thought they were cheap enough. 153. So anyway, I need to finish my write-up for the Dell vs. HP at work. At least I got the monitor eval done. Cheap airflights are one sale, and I want to go somewhere. Since I should be getting such a awesome tax refund. Time to get to doing something else. Why does that darn fridge freeze my water bottles?

Hello 2007!

So, here I am now in the year 2007. I am typing this on my new Macbook Pro now. I actually have to learn the MAC more to support them at work. Pretty funny huh? Don't go thinking the Mac is being adopted in the business world, its just we want to make money from these people. No Target tonight. Was going to hit it for the global bazaar stuff, but i decided I didn't need any thing that bad. It's supposed to storm heavily tonight.
I guess I should do little more updating to this. Let's see what things have changed.
1. The SHO is still down with no brakes. Still haven't fixed it. I don't know why I am dragging my heels on it so bad.
2. The Truck is now down. I need to get it towed somewhere to see why it doesn't start. Just cranks and cranks. No workey.

Let's recap what deals I have found for now.
I sold my last speakerphone from Target. I didnt make as much, but it was used. I got 20 plus two bluetooth dongles. Maybe I can resell them.
I got a lot of furniture last two weeks. I got J two end tables from TGet in Ward Parkway. 29 bucks a piece was awesome so I bought them any way if he didnt like them. ( He loved them )
I bought three more mis matched end table/ side table. I refrained from buying two different sofa tables for 29 a piece. I should have bought them now that I think about it. I would like to have them downstairs.
I finally bought that Sony radio I wanted. Of course, the next day it went down so I bought two more and I will play return-o on the higher dollar one. I am not sure why I bought two more. Zaylee wants a radio and I said I got her one, but she would break them for sure. If she has any of her father in her. Maybe she will take care of them like me.
I got new phones. Shall I make a list?

I think I will try to clean this up a litle bit before I go to Topeka this weekend. I need to hook up Dad's new free TiVo two. So shane can get the free points. Light up keyboards are the best thing. I can see it so well. I love it. Give me this on a Windows XP box and I will be happy.

By the way, I am still really not doing all my work on Vista. We will see when that happens.

Well, I guess I woke up and the year is almost over. A lot has changed since my last post. My roommate moved back to Hotlanta. Two of my friends lost their jobs or quit. I switched phones a million times, to now come back to what my screen name suggests. ( I am on a Treo 700P and WX) I got in good with all the phone people again I think. I need to get something else new to feed this urge. I am upstairs again. I am not sure where I want to sleep tonight. I forgot there was a Woot-off tonight too. I better check and see if its over. Its still going. Still no Roomba's. Havent gone to Target since sunday of this week. I am not addicted. Is anyone else? Dinner tonight was sponsored by Costco. I am going to get back downstairs and figure out where I am going to sleep. Now that my r-m is gone I can sleep on any floor I choose!
Question is, should I get another roomy?

I still do exist. I forgot the password to my blog, and the user name. I had to do some searching. A lot of things have happened since my last entry. I have bought a house, and moved. I have a new roommate. I just had a birthday today. I guess its cool that I updated this on my b-day. I will try to do more on here. What a deal on a laptop today. Inspiron 630M for 499. I am trying to keep away from buying it. I told myself the next laptop for me had to be dual core with at least a 15.4 screen. I could have got a refurb XPS M170 this morning pretty cheap. But still no dual core. It is warm up here. I am in the upstairs loft tonight. I am going to sleep on the second story. It is awesome having a house with two stories and a basement. My roommate lives down there. Pretty much has it all to himself. I will try to post some pictures of the house sometime. Maybe tonight if I can log into my Sprint PCS picture account. Well, I lost my house pictures apparantly when my phone was flashed. I found this old pic from last year and thought it would be better than nothing.

Good morning. What a world. I have been watching to much of the news lately about Katrina. At least I am not still fasting. I couldnt eat the other day after watching the first two days. When the raping and beating started I guess I could tune out. Also I found my family down there is alive and now they are out of there. Well, I need to figure out if I am going to Sams club this morning to buy that Lawn mower, and or Big screen TV's.

So today was the big celebration day at Sprint, now Sprint/Nextel, or Sprint, together with Nextel, or what ever. I am cleaning the bathroom right now so that when the apartment people come in sometime they will not be grossed out. I had enough hair on the vanity to make a wig. Now if I can get the floor cleaned off too. Why I am cleaning? Because of the stupid condo thing they are remodling the one above mine. They pulled out all the carpets and sinks. Guess what happens when you pull out sinks and dont check them. They LEAK. They have both leaked, first in the other bathroom Thursday, then Sunday apparantly in the master. I came home today after telling them again and now it has run all the way to the light and was still dripping. Wonderful huh!!? So now they are going to have to repair the ceiling. In there and the hallway. Image when I move out of this one, and they tear this stuff up. This poor place is a mess. Anyone remember what BOA needs to start the pre-qual for a home loan? I can't remember if it was two weeks or months of paystubs. I NEED A HOUSE. Well, I dont really want a house that I have to do all this kind of stuff. I would like a nice duplex, or really fancy condo.
Nice thing about having a leak for a neighbor upstairs- I can blast my radio at anytime of day or night. I am never really a noisy person but what the hell.
Got a new SHO this weekend. Whooo Hoo. A 1993 Green with 70K miles. Too bad it wasn't a easy fixer. I am planning on just parting it out. I would love to see it on the road again. Too bad of subframe damage. I do get a nice CD player, subwoofer, and all the JBL speakers out of it. I hope I can just plop them in the 92. If not, I will have to plop them in the 93 silver.

I guess it has been a while since I posted. I am not going to say anything about the car thing. You would know what I was talking about if I would'nt have just deleted that whole paragraph! I did'nt want anything down in writing that I would regret later. That is always how it seems with me. Do you think that person will ever get on his feet stable? It is always the same thing every few months. The next omen will be he loses his job what do you bet. Since today he said he sounded like he might have got fired over the phone already.
I have something else to say. Why is it I am doing this every so often, but I HATE doing documentation. I think I am going to talk my grandma into doing a BLOG. Wouldn't that be cool? Something in writing to always see and be online? She loves to type, and I would just really have to hope the wireless connection stays on long enough.

Well, I got on here on a HP thin client box I am testing, and it will not let me type in the body of this message. Luckily for RDP! I am now RDP'ed in and then filling in the text. I should be getting ready for my big day tomorrow. I need to make beds and clean house before everyone comes. I also need to go by Shane's sometime before he leaves to get his house key and alarm code. Drove the Sable today. I love the Sable sometimes. I really like driving a really easy going car. I bet I would love a new Camry 4cyl. Someday I will have me a camry, and maybe a newer 2000-2005 Taurus. I kind of felt bad when I heard that the Sable is dead. Not my car, but the Sable is no longer being built. First the wagon, then the Sables, then the Taurus sedan will be the last. Well, I am going to get busy, try to do a load of laundry, and make beds. I suppose if someone else reads this they will have to know that I like Ford Taurus' and Mercury Sables. And Tempo/Topaz, and SHO, and Infiniti G35's, and 80's GM cars. What a list!! Ta ta for now!

By the way, I did get my Sprint PCS clearance phones I wanted. Well, I guess I forgot to tell you about those. I found some Rl2000's at OD for 70 bucks a piece. I talked them down to 50 a piece and bought them both. Then, JB didnt want one. So I thought that was OK but he ended up wanting to pay for it since I was supposed to pick one up for him. He took that and then the other I was going to sell to my brother or someone JD ended up needing one for his son. So, Sold it already and marked it up to 60. Also sold my last Optiplex GX280 from my big Dell deal times. I wonder if anyone would like to read about all the Dell's I buy and sell. Ha.
AP took it today and I got 250 for it. I bought 4 of them alike, for 197 plus tax, then sold them all for 250 each. 1000-816= $184 profit. Well, so thats now alot. But it helps. And its fun!

So, as the post starts, thats where I am.I just got home, after not getting the image done yet. I am fighting the stupid TCP-IP stack error. I clean it out like before, sysprep, then load and it still isnt right. I wanted to have this done before the weekend. I wanted it done tonight actually. I want to take off Friday and Tuesday so I can get some work done out of town. I guess when you have laptops in the bathroom you can update your blog. Kind of gives another meaning to the term "blog". Ha.
Well, I ended up having dinner, a little late but better then never. I wanted to go to that new Mickey's Irish Pub, in the old Old Chicago but they wanted to charge a 5 dollar cover charge. No way! I went to have 2 dollar cheesburgers and water! Ha.
